Thank you so much for helping us with this project! My students were able to practice for TELPAS listening and speaking, so they were able to do their best on this assessment. We will use the headphones for several years to come. It was such a blessing to have enough of the headphones so all the students were able to really prepare for the TELPAS assessment. TELPAS Assessment is the time where my students can really show their growth. With the help of you we were able to really prepare for this yearly assessment. Thank you again for your generosity.

I am writing to thank you for the generous donation to my class’ education. The money you donated was used to purchase literacy games for all our students. These literacy games have helped my students and myself every single day.
Students rotate through learning stations while I pull small groups for reading or math instruction. Learning stations that were purchased contained games and activities that cover skills and standards that have been previously taught. These requested materials have allowed me to set up independent stations for independent practice and small group instruction. My students have absolutely loved the new stations and are very motivated to learn. They stay engaged in the station the duration of the center time, which is such a blessing to me!
Teaching at a Title 1 school like I do limits our resources due to lack of PTA. Without donors like you, thousands of classrooms in the USA would go without.

Thank you for the classroom materials. The contributions made have an impact on several classrooms at my school.
When I introduced the storytelling games to a first grade group, they were so excited to play the game. Sequencing and retelling a story is a needed skill to build upon for primary students. The game will help them become successful and stronger at this skill. The phonics game I’ve used with struggling readers to help build some phonics skills. The wobble chairs have made the biggest impact with my students staying focused and allowing the ability to move as they learn. The chairs have to be shared among each student making sure each on gets a turn because they love them so much.

The games purchased for my students have added so much fun to small group instruction in both Reading and Math. They have allowed me to close some of the achievement gaps that existed, while having fun at the same time. The new resources make the students feel so successful because now they are not anxious about buying the dry erase markers, pencils, notebooks and binders. We are using these resources daily to check our understanding on what we are learning. We use the dry erase markers to show our thinking on problems and the journal and binders to display our proud work. Students were very excited to have supplies and not have to scramble to find them. They were grateful for the donation from complete strangers.
Students will continue to use the binders to organize their work, preparing them for Junior High, keeping track of their work and increasing their responsibilities

My students have spent many hours laying on this wonderful rug reading, playing learning games, and working on activities on the white board. They would not have enjoyed it half as much without this wonderful rug. It has really made the room brighter.

Your generosity has allowed teachers to have the ability to check out a variety of resources to enhance students’ learning experience. For example, teachers who have students who have trouble focusing or sitting still in class have checked out items like the busy bands to put on students’ chairs, bouncy cushions for students to sit on in their chairs, and wobble chairs to use in place of chairs. The differentiated seating has made a huge impact in several students’ abilities to focus.
For a while now, we have not had enough sets of fraction tiles when teaching the concept of fractions to students. Being on such a large campus, we tend to have several different grade levels that need the manipulatives at the same time. Students end up having to share the materials or some are not able to use them at all. Thanks to the wonderful donations, students were so excited to have their own set of fraction tiles to use during our fraction unit.
Those are just a few examples of the huge impact your donations have had on our school. They have not only helped the almost 700 students at our school, but our teachers as well!
