forced draft Btex emissions unit
Forcing air past tube arrays to increase convection in areas with stagnant wind conditions
Our electric BTEX emission system is made with all stainless steel, ASME stamped heat exchangers, completely manufactured and tested by SpiralX. The system forces air past finned tubes via electric fans to create condensation in all environments. Electric supply capable of 230/480 VAC must be available. Regeneration capability ranges from 200,000 – 3.5MM BTU/hr..
The Benefits
- SpiralX electric systems use a 24” diameter separator tank, complete with removable demister pad. Other systems use a 4” diameter separator, which often is not large enough to get good separation between the condensable and the BTEX gases, thus creating a fire hazard.
- SpiralX electric systems use 35 GPM rated diaphragm pumps to move condensate as opposed to 4 GPM blow cases. This provides added protection in upset conditions.
- SpiralX electric systems come with an optional combustor to destroy the BTEX gases as opposed to the dangerous practice of pushing those gases back into the dehy burner.
- SpiralX uses high liquid level and emergency bypass systems in conjunction with our accumulator tanks to prevent exhaust from entering BTEX elimination process during a detected failure.
- Using Forced Draft fan technology, these systems are not only independent of prevailing winds for operation, but can use variable frequency drives to work in extreme cold conditions.
- For large dehydrating units, these units are considerably more compact and low profile than inferior models, allowing for easy shipment as well as low cost installation
