Our location has 74,000 ft² of shop floor space, under roof, with both ground-level and dock high level doors for easy loading. The layout of the shop floor has been designed for beginning-to-end production flow to streamline the fabrication process. The property is fenced-in with concrete for storage and truck access. Our current lift capacity is a capable 10,000 lbs. We have two forklifts for transporting and loading the units as well as a scissor lift for safely accessing the top of our units.
We keep a detailed list of our certified welders and adhere to all ASME Section IX codes. All welders must complete a 6G welding test prior to being hired and maintain their personal welders log which must be kept at their welding location during all working hours. Our welding positioners allow our welders to perform continuous welds in a more comfortable position.

We have our own open face, industrial paint booth for structures to be painted to customer specification in house. This cuts down lead time and ensures our units adhere to any and all environmental regulations.
Your unit may be required to be painted and approved with an “environmentally sound” color as mandated by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). Here is a list of standard environmental colors for federal oil and gas facilities issued by the Rocky Mountain Regional Coordinating Committee (RMRCC).
Spiral X uses Haas CNC machines for consistent and accurate fabrication of various unit components based off CAD design drawings. A manual Bridgeport mill is also used for fabrication. Automatic and abrasive saws around the shop aid in cutting steel pipe and beams to spec.
All welding and assembly stations include monitors for viewing fabrication drawings. This decreases the occurrence of design error typical with keeping track of hard copies and quickly handles changes if design edits are needed. It allows us to significantly reduce our paper consumption as well!
