Enclosures
Maintaining an optimal working temperature is crucial to the function of condensers. Spiral X offers designs to overcome the challenges of wide temperature range of the Southern and Midwest regions, as well as the Northern freezes.
Sheet Metal Enclosures
Spiral X offers insulated sheet metal enclosures on BTEX units to protect against colder temperatures and other environmental elements; debris, hail, etc. The steel panels are are removable for inspection and maintenance.
Louvers
Adjustable louvers are suggested for regions where there are wide temperature swings. Closing them captures heat from the condensers to keep the system warm in the cold months; opening the louvers forces maximum air across the tube bundles for cooler operation in the heat of summer. Adjustable louvers are designed and manufactured in-house by Spiral X. The air blades are set with bronze bushings for increased wear resistance, unlike standard plastic bushings.
Hinged Doors
Spiral X offers hinged doors on all BTEX unit enclosures for easy, quick, and safe access to components. They are convenient for when maintenance is required or when pressure readings on the regulator dials need to be checked.
